Yoga

Live Streaming through Zoom. Private 1 to 1 sessions and small groups. Class duration varies between 60mins depending on session choice.

Embracing the moment allows us to run the moment instead of the moment running over us!

Cost: Teachings are offered freely however donations are accepted towards service offerings.

Class Notes
Conducted in small to medium groups and all poses are taught with a number of access points to cater to all ages and skill levels, beginners welcome. Comfortable clothing such as shorts or leggings are recommended. Practice is done in bare feet. An empty stomach is preferable and arriving 5-10 minutes early is useful.

It is useful to allow approx 1.5m2 per person and clear access to at least one wall. Or find a park (weather permitting). Travelling time within 5km of CBD included, outside this distance by negotiation. Prices on application.

Top 3 Reasons for Meditating

To minimise our suffering, we begin by understanding that it is not the outer things that get happy or unhappy, it is our mind, a mind that is present always. A mind that is naturally joyful, wise and compassionate if only it wasn‘t so distracted being angry, sad or anxious. It is useful to think of this anger, sadness and anxiety as layers of dust obscuring our mind that have built up over time -- a result of our past actions and experiences. Welcome to Caro Way's Centre for Awakening Meditation & HomeStay

Only available with HomeStay packages and subject to availability. Variable lengths and schedule depending on your meditation experience, committment level or schedule. After initial welcome to facility, sharing of meditation instructions, customised meditation provided if requested, introduction to your attendent, then ReTreat to your private room for grounding.

Stay in the room for duration, read your favourite books, practice medition or chill, only leaving room for toilet breaks. Avoid/minimise contact with other guests, provision for your own meals or have meals delivered to room. Messages passed to attendent for duration of ReTreat. If as a highly responsible fiesty independent grown-up being grounded in your bedroom without TV or iGadgets while magic meals materialise at meal time is your idea of paradise, then paradise now has a temporary address.

A general advice for Centre newbies: Beginners 3 days maximum, Intermediates minimum of 3 days + option to extend 2 days or Advanced 5 days + option to extend 2 days.

Caution: This is an inner city environment so Household and urban noise is a feature as part of the all sounds are mantras Karma Kargu style. Are you ready to experience the world spinning without your direction?

Please consider loved ones, work colleages, dependents or houseplants before-hand. Make arrangements for your absence and advise them why youre trying something new‘, ‘going off-grid‘, or just gone for a short break and will not be in contact for duration. Throughout reTreat, messages can be left, held or made through attendent.

Massage only offered to existing yoga and meditation students. 1 to 1 consultations. Massages are fully clothed so leave feeling energised, harmonised and ready for action without any sticky residue.

Those experiencing demonstrable financial hardship or have other suitable reasons may apply for assistance through the CWCPP. Contact us for more details if this applies to you.

Those experiencing financial and/or emotional hardship as a result of alleged abuses of authority and/or alleged negligence may apply for assistance through the CECCM. As time is precious, only matters demonstrated to benefit all will be considered, if this is not possible, then least-effort-most-good basis will apply. This assistance may take the form of individual discussion, mediation between parties, independent research and testing of facts, conclusions and reporting. If the alleged financial/emotional hardship is proved, the Unsuccessful Party to pay $300 per hour for consultations including appearances in Court up to date of settlement or concluding remarks by authorised independant third party (ie. a Judge in the Court of Law of Australia). In addition to the hourly fee, appearances in unnecessary or vexatious legal or Court appearances attract a $3,000 penalty fee per session payable by the Unsuccessful Party.

In the case that the Unsuccessful Party is an organisation, staff is deemed to be anyone contracted, salary, casually hired and/or in a positition to make decisions on behalf of the organisation and that this will be recognised as being authorised by the organisation and its Number 1 decision maker, who is deemed to be the employer. In the case that the negligence was proved to be performed by staff without the employer‘s knowing, any costs awarded against the Unsuccessful Party will be increased by 10% per individual acting as an authorised agent for the employer that contributed to the negligence. Once the costs of mounting remedial action have been recovered, excess to be paid into not-for-profit organisation at CECCM’s discretion with full transparency. In the case that the Unsuccessful Party has limited financial means, than an equivalent in community-service hours costed at $20ph in a mutually agreed not-for-profit situation is acceptable until the debt is paid in full. There will be allowances at CECCM‘s discretion made for positive and useful behaviour performed by the Unsuccessful Party.

Life is precious. The present is the right time for clarity of mind and generousity from actions with joy in heart. Repeat as needed until suffering ends and happiness begins. There are many ways, this is a way by Awakening Mind.
