This reference is included as an expression of gratitude to this teacher of this tradition, and to all teachers past and present. They are interpreters for us who come after. This reference is offered as a sign of respect, personal gratitude and not of implied personal endorsement.

In our fast moving world it is common for us to feel that there is never enough time to do the things we want to do.

Ayurveda is the science of living that teaches each of us is unique and the sum of our own past experiences. Our body, speech and mind reflect our daily life. We are all naturally happy and wise, it is just layers of dust accumulated through the act of living that stop us from experiencing this happiness and wisdom.

Everyday clues that indicate we could benefit from a different perspective:
-- the usual things that bring pleasure now only seem to frustrate
-- it is a chore to get out of bed in the morning
-- it is difficult to stay focused on any one task.

If we were organising our computer, each thing to be organised would require a skilful tool. For example, for the music we might use iTunes, the images iPhoto and for unwanted files the bin.
